General
1.1 – These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all participants, parents/guardians, and visitors (“Participants”) attending or engaging with The LeagueLab Academy (“Academy”).
1.2 – By enrolling in the Academy, Participants agree to abide by these Terms.
1.3 – The Academy reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time, with notice provided to Participants.
Enrolment and Fees
2.1 – All Participants must complete the enrolment form, including submission of required forms and valid payment details.
2.2 – Training program fees are charged monthly and will be processed via Direct Debit in advance of each month’s payment cycles.
2.3 – Failure to make timely payments may result in the suspension or cancellation of participation in the training programs.
2.4 – All payments for registered players must be made on time. In the event of a failed payment, the contact person for the player will be notified and provided a reasonable timeframe to resolve the payment. If a second payment is missed, a formal written notice will be issued. Failure to resolve payments after a third occurrence will result in the player’s removal from the academy, with their spot offered to a player on the waiting list.
2.5 – Attendance for training sessions is the responsibility of the participant. No refunds, or make-up sessions will be provided for missed training sessions. Participants are encouraged to attend all scheduled sessions to maximise the benefits of the program. By enrolling, you acknowledge and agree to this policy.
Code of Conduct
3.1 – Participants must behave respectfully toward coaches, staff, and other attendees.
3.2 – Bullying, harassment, or any form of misconduct will not be tolerated and may result in immediate removal without refund.
3.3 – Participants must follow all instructions provided by Academy staff to ensure a safe and productive environment.
Safety and Liability
4.1 – Participants must wear appropriate footwear and necessary training gear.
4.2 – The Academy is not liable for injuries sustained during training or related activities. Participants understand and acknowledge that participation in rugby league training involves inherent risks of injury. By enrolling in the Academy, participants assume all risks and release the Academy, its trainers, and staff from any liability for injuries, accidents, or damages that may occur during training sessions.
4.3 – Participants and/or their guardians assume full responsibility for disclosing any medical conditions that may affect participation.
4.4 – Participants are responsible for their personal belongings. The Academy is not liable for any loss, theft, or damage to personal property.
Insurance
5.1 – The Academy holds public liability insurance covering its operations; however, personal accident insurance is the responsibility of Participants.
5.2 – Participants are advised to obtain appropriate coverage for injuries or accidents that may occur.
Cancellation and Refunds
6.1 The Academy reserves the right to cancel or reschedule sessions due to unforeseen circumstances, including weather or staffing issues. In such cases, participants will be notified, and an alternative arrangement will be offered.
6.2 – Refunds may be provided at the Academy’s discretion for cancelled sessions.
6.3 – Participants who withdraw from the Academy must provide written notice. Refunds for withdrawals are not guaranteed.
6.4 – Participants must provide 30 days’ written notice to cancel their subscription. Fees already paid for the notice period are non-refundable.
6.5 – Fees are non-refundable, except in cases of cancellation by the Academy.
Photography and Media
7.1 – By enrolling, Participants consent to the use of their images and videos taken during Academy activities for promotional purposes.
7.2 – Participants may opt out of media use by submitting a written request to the Academy.
Intellectual Property
8.1 – All training gear and methods provided by the Academy remain the intellectual property of the Academy.
8.2 – Participants are prohibited from reproducing, distributing, or sharing these materials without written consent.
Privacy
9.1 – The Academy will collect and process personal information in accordance with relevant privacy laws.
9.2 – Participant information will only be used for purposes related to the Academy and will not be shared with third parties without consent.
Dispute Resolution
10.1 – Any disputes arising from participation in the Academy will be handled in good faith through mediation.
10.2 – If mediation fails, disputes may be resolved through legal action.
Acknowledgment and Acceptance
11.1 – By signing the enrolment form or attending the Academy, Participants confirm they have read, understood, and agree to these Terms.
11.2 – This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of NSW.
